Ice Cube Says Dr. Dre is Dropping New Music This Week

About 10 minutes into this interview on the Rise & Grind Morning Show on Philly’s Power 99, Cube reveals that Dr. Dre will be releasing an album that is inspired by NWA and the new film Straight Outta Compton on August 1st. According to him it will feature new, previously unheard music and “it’s what everybody’s been waiting for” from the good doctor.

Joining Cube in the studio are SOC director F. Gary Gray, his son O’Shea Jackson Jr., and Jason Mitchell, the actor who portrays Eazy-E. They speak variously on the struggle to get the film funded and made, …

There’s no one out of G-Unit that is going harder than Young Buck right now. The Tennessee native has been on a tear with the recent release of 10 Bricks and 10 Bullets mixtapes and he’s still got a handful of projects to go in the upcoming months. Today he leads off with the very tough track “Loco,” which already calls out the Twitter beef we’ve seen lately and says he’s all about the money.

Last night at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Kanye debuted his video for “All Day” and an unreleased track called “I Feel Like That”. You can watch a cell phone recording of the Steve McQueen directed visual above, for now. Hopefully a proper copy will arrive online soon.

Wimbledon 2015 - Day 1 - Celebrity Sightings

Earlier this afternoon on his OVO Sound show on Beats 1 Radio, Drake dropped “Charged Up”, a track that doesn’t call anybody out specifically, but is clearly aimed at Meek Mill and to a lesser extent Funk Flex. Listen below.
