'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire' Cancelled After 17 Years

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire has been cancelled after an impressive 17 years on the air.

The game show, which was most recently hosted by Chris Harrison, spanned 20 seasons and broadcast nearly 3,000 episodes.

“After a successful 17-year run, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire will not return in national syndication for the 2019-20 season,” a show spokesperson told Variety.

The show first began airing on ABC primetime in 1999, hosted by Regis Philbin, before shifting to syndication in 2002.

A$ AP Ferg kicked off the campaign with his new album last week by releasing the song, “Pups.” The record, which features A$ AP Rocky, samples DMX’s 1998 classic “Get At Me Dog.” The A$ AP Mob representers are back with a fierce performance visual, in support of the record. Directed by Ferg, Rocky and Shomi Patwary, the music video pays homage to X’s video from 20 years ago, as the pair bring out the dogs and perform a wild show for a crowd full of ragers.

Kicking off Oct. 5 in Vancouver, Canada, the 27-date trek hits major cities like Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Toronto, and Chicago, wrapping up on Nov. 16 in Madison, WI.
